mine is higurashi(when they cry) !! because of how there's a lot of psychological horror going on! i love rena ryuugu (i relate to her) and there's always something going on!
My favorite anime is Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) - not because it has Yuno Gasai in it, but because I like its spiritual idea of "becoming god".

I don't really watch anime as much, i like one piece, I guess Ponyo, and Your name are ok
But I don't like Spirited Away or Arritetty as much, the story is somewhat confusing to me
I honestly watch more cartoons like steven universe or animated shows like The Amazing Digital Circus than anime

So I think my favorite one is Hellsing Ultimate!
It just really hits the spot for me, especially the German dub.
Other than that I found Future Diary extremely good because it was just the escapism I needed when I watched it.
Other than that I also Love Kill la Kill, but if I don't stop myself I still sit here tomorrow.
Huh, I actually haven't watched many anime. I mostly read manga. Out of what I have watched, I guess Death Note is my favorite. It's a classic and I really got caught up in the game of cat and mouse.
