For those who need advice on solving problems (from someone else who also struggles with getting things done and struggles through overwhelm and anxiety:
Focus on what you can control here and now and narrow down your priorities. Keep them few. Sometimes the immediate is more important to look at then the far future.
I dont know what you're going through, but I know you can get theough it!
I recommend journaling to break down your problems step by step to create a plan. Journaling has been one of the few things that have kept me sane, haha.
Generally it looks like this for me:
Write down the problems and how they makes you feel
Analyse and break down the problem and why you feel the way you feel
Brainstorm potential solutions giving yourself grace for if no solution can get you the best outcome you couldve hoped for
Pick a solution and break it down step by step to make it direct and less intimidating. This will act as a map to your goal.
Start with the baby steps that you can control (such as asking for extensions if you need them and then start to work on what you need to)
To find your priorities:
List out what you want to do
Find which ones are the most important and immediate and allocate the rest for later
Hone in on which priority to start first
Most importantly remember that an outcome will happen no matter what you choose to do and that you can always find a way to reset from where you are even if you arent where you want to be.
