I wanted to see which genders of yandere the people here like, mostly people only like female yanderes. (Well in my experience at least)

I really like yanderes, they are like my comfort characters lol

I prefer male yanderes because they are less shown in media/acceptable in society. The "crazy ex girlfriend trope"/ "cute stalker crush" is frowned on. It's not so bad to the extent of males put into horror movies.

i don't mind either way, but i feel like i lean more towards the girls. i like yanderes because i love the whole concept of "looks cute but could kill"

i killed a plant once because i gave it too much water. lord, i worry that love is violence.

In all honesty i would prefer a Yandere Girlfriend and i havent really seen anything with a Male Yandere in it, but i lean more toward the female yandere because of how common it is in stories but as transfemmefatale stated, i like the looks cute but could kill concept as well, i mean it is a nice contrast in all honesty

Females personally, because hot... but I kinda get what others are saying. Bring out the boys, let out the lads I wanna see some bloodshed.

 

Also on a another note I also want to see a male yandere as a sort of tragic hero/ villain rather than some rapey creep or serial killer. Have him be cool and actually conventially attractive rather than your average discord mod. That'll be cool to see in a story where its actually used in a semi romantic sense with more thriller elements. Again tone down the sexual side to make it less rapey so the yandere feels more "innocent" in his pursuit of love for those ideas then to be corrupted by external factors leading them down their dark path.

I'm biromantic, but i'm mostly trans4trans, so only trans people and nonbinary for me. Fictional characters are exempt to this rule though lol
