My Sweetheart and My Honey Bunny were phenomenal!
Both of them have huge yandere self shipping potential (with me ;) )
Matthew Lilliard did an amazing job as always portraying my Honey Bunny. Scary, whimsical, iconic, claiming, ruthless, cunning, and haunting! I can't wait to see him come back again in the 3rd movie as Springtrap! I loved the intro scene where we see him at the sink washing the knives. It feels like if I could've merged with the screen I could've come up behind him and hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek and ask him what his plans were.. And his lines! His lines!!
"Don't you know that you're my favourite? Don't you know that I love you! Don't you know that I care about you! You are my child. You have a purpose."
"Where are you going to run? You will always be mine! You shall always be mine!"
My sweetheart is very legacy and family oriented no matter how cult-like it is. It's also obvious his emotions are deep regarding how his loved ones treat him. He clearly wants others to revere and be proud of him (I am haha). He's so awkward trying to act "normal" and you can tell he wants to burst out in theatrics like his dad.
I feel like the movie did him dirty for run time and plot though. The way he was defeated so easily due to writing and bad pacing is something that feels so wrong.
I'm so happy to finally have a face for the sweetheart I've loved for years. Freddy Carter was an excellent choice and I find his "unconventional" looks to be quite hot. It's disheartening to see others so insulting to his looks but also at the same time it's a blessing cause mine mine mine.
